I got your adress from dustercommunity in germany. The server in germany is broken, so we can not contact there now....

 

On friday I will get my new Duster. I got the papers from production which are sticked outside the car during the car gets build. can someone answer my questions about that?

 

There are 3 dates on that papers. The first is:

 

TIP VEHICULORA CAPTJ MONTAJ 04 59

 

the second is:

 

DATA CAPTAJ MONTAJ 01 12 11

 

and the third is:

 

DATA (ora) prev. MADC 02 12 08 57

 

Can someone tell me what these dates and times exactly mean?

 

I wish you a good time in romania and hope that you will get some higher temperatures there soon.

Regarding your marks those looks like:

 

TIP VEHICULORA CAPTJ MONTAJ 04 59 - some timestamp that translates to 04:59

 

DATA CAPTAJ MONTAJ 01 12 11 - could be production date (January 1, 12 year 2012, 11 11th day of January)

 

DATA (ora) prev. MADC 02 12 08 57 - 02 12 (Feb 2012) 08:57 (timestamp) - delivery date or ready to delivery date.

For DATA CAPTAJ MONTAJ 01 12 11, could be 1st of december 2011? We mustn`t forget that the data format may be the romanian one.

Thank you for the quick answers. The car came mid december to my dealer. So I thin that the car was build between the 01.12.2011 (04:59) and 02.12.2011 (08:57).

 

I dont know how long it takes to build 1 car completely. But for me it seems possible.

 

I was looking for a new car since last summer. in my neighbourhood there is a renault/dacia dealer. I saw the Duster and directly falled in love with that car. I took 3 chances to drive the Duster and felt absolutely "at home" in this car. I was surprised about how good the Duster is driving!

 

2 weeks ago there where some special days from Dacia in switzerland. We drove to another dealer. he had a Duster, nearly exact the car that we would have ordered. They took our 2 old cars for a good price and so we bought the Duster 110 DPF 4x4 in white.

 

Friday I'll have my "baby" at home....

Mittlerweile ist http://www.dustercommunity.de wieder online. Hat mir auch gefehlt.

 

The DUSTER forum for german language users, www.dustercommunity.de is online again after a week-long absence. It was missed by many.

 

The wealth of technical information there is overwhelming but it is available only in german language. I am sure they will be happy to hear from the next romanian DUSTER event, 2012 February the 18th, at Bolboci Lake in the Carpathian mountains, don't forget to keep shooting a lot of pictures there.

We, still, don't have here the limitations which are in Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Holland etc.. for off road experiences! We have freedom in accessing the Romanian's mountains/forests...

I make sure that the message is relayed. As for opinions, there are reasons for not allowing mud/terrain tires and offroad jolly just anywhere.

 

Those foreigners who do care about the environment probably do not endorse activities with significant environmental impact in yet another pristine and untouched regions such as those in the Carpathian mountains. We have to take care and stress out that environmental issues are being thought of.
